Review of The Green Mile (1999) by Bradley W — 10 Sep 2012
The Green Mile is a masterful movie of hope, jealousy, and good and evil. The plot was a great thing to behold and a wonderous track record that Darabont can keep to these great tales of Stephen King, and it just felt like every moment of this film was important and just plain genius. The cast was great, Tom Hanks was wonderful but the real gold goes to Michael Clarke Duncan, who deserved the Oscar as much as anyone else that year. The Green Mile is for someone witha big heart, and someone who is ready to see a masterpiece.
R.I.P. Michael Clarke Duncan.
