Review of The Green Mile (1999) by Johnny R — 15 Apr 2014

Oh my gosh, what an incredible and amazing masterpiece!! It was extremely intense, engaging, touching, emotional, sad, and entertaining!! The film will literally hypnotize you from looking away for even a few seconds!! The story was very interesting!! Frank Darabont (the director of the masterpiece that is "The Shawshank Redemption") directs the "The Green Mile" with the same passion as "The Shawshank Redemption"!! The cast was absolutely perfect and incredible!! Tom Hanks as always, never gives a bad performance and his acting in this film was no exception and it was Oscar worthy!! Michael Clarke Duncan also gives an Oscar worthy performance as playing a unique character with great emotional depth!! Sam Rockwell gives arguably the greatest bad guy performance in the history of cinema!! He makes you hate him so bad and for an actor to do that, their performance deserves to be Oscar worthy!! If you like extremely engaging movies with a never dull moment, than you got to check this out!! If you don't like movies that are long, than don't see this!! This is one the best prison and one of the greatest films of all-time!! Period!! This is absolutely a MUST-SEE!!
