Review of The Green Mile (1999) by Stephen Z — 05 Aug 2014
"The Green Mile" is yet another fantastic film adaption of a Stephen King novel. While it is not quite as entertaining as its cousin ("The Shawshank Redemption") and is quite a long tale, it is still a great film.
Great performances on the part of both Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan. This is a truly heartbreaking tale, and Hanks and Duncan really sell it. But the true tragedy is that John Coffey doesn't take a page out of Andy Dufresne's book!
