Review of The Green Mile (1999) by Edward T — 27 Nov 2014
King's beautiful tale told powerfully through the direction of Darabont and the eyes of a brilliant cast. Longer than your standard flick, but like any good book, every minute is worth it. It may not be as spell-bounding as 'The Shawshank Redemption', but the bittersweet taste of Darbont and King's characters stay with you, long after the curtain has dropped -- leaving you poignantly mystified about the goodness of life and our own green miles.
