This is an original and distinctive work of cinema. As such, it will not make everyone happy, and cannot be perfect. I always appreciate any attempt, successful or not, to make movies with a vision. The visuals are perfect, the score hypnotic.

Casting, as usual in this day and age, can be debatable, but acting is good and effective. The pace is glacially slow, and it is meant to be so. This is not an action movie, but a dreamy work of visual art.
