Overlong, boring, and poorly shot. No this film isn’t “beautiful”. It’s riddled with pacing issues and dragged down by a nonsensical plot. It’s about as deep as a mud puddle. The protagonist is an unlikable coward. I can see why the average millennial would identify with him.
It fits right alongside every other A24 film I’ve ever seen. Utter arthouse trash.
