Review of The Green Knight (2021) by Bulkingbad — 30 Jul 2021
The cinematography here was excellent. The acting was superb…but my god wtf was that? A24 missed the mark. Hard. Slow burns do not equal bad movie. Tension and atmosphere over action do not equal bad movie.
Every second of screen time used here was slow and methodical and meant to be thought provoking but instead you’re left scratching your head after every sequence. It all adds up to the most lackluster climax I’ve ever seen.
I’m so disappointed.
