Review of The Green Inferno (2013) by Sarah N — 29 Sep 2015
I rarely find a movie that I would give a 5/5 rating but this is one of those very rare movies. I thought the movie was fantastic. I found no flaws, except for the scenes where they panned over the forest and that was only because the quality looked like I shot it from my seventh grade phone but I honestly thought this movie was deserving of a 5/5 rating.
It seemed as if it was focusing more on FGM which I've noticed becoming more and more a hot topic the past few years. I also found the fact that, in the movie, they were determined to do something about protecting the tribe, even though it turned out that the guy only did this because he wanted his group to become famous and get more people to join.
I'm rambling and I probably don't make sense and sound like I don't know what I'm talking about but honestly, I think this is a movie that isn't getting the credit (praise?) it deserves.
