Review of The Green Inferno (2013) by Aaron G — 02 Sep 2017
Eli had originally stated he wanted the movie to look like a Werner Herzog documentary and I gotta say that would have definitely helped the film since it's digital visual blandness really hurt it and kept some of the slower parts from being as boring they ended up being. The pacing in the end of the second act and most of the third ended up suffering because of that visual void.
Had those issues been fixed however it could have been a really solid horror comedy. I mean after all who doesn't want to see college liberals eaten alive?
