Review of The Green Berets (1968) by John D — 24 Apr 2008
The fact that it's Duke's slightly less than flower power take on the Vietnam fiasco doesn't become the significant matter, what The Green Berets becomes remembered for is simply that it is one of THE most dull, contrived and soulless war movies ever made.
Wether right wing or not doesn't even matter 20 minutes into this dull and silly cure for sleepless nights. One star for Duke's enthusiasm.
