I tried to watch this for class, and it was incredibly boring. It could have been a two-hour film instead of three if the characters had spoken at a normal speed instead of making sure the deaf could also understand follow along.
It is unfairly remembered for John Wayne's one-line at the end, but if it wasn't remembered for that then it wouldn't be remembered at all.
