Review of The Greatest Showman (2017) by Thomas D — 22 Feb 2018
If you are having a bad day and need to escape, there isn't a better film to go run away with. The music will suck you in from the opening frame until the very first ending credit. Although the story has some historic inaccuracies, that is all but forgotten once the singing starts and you are pulled away, into a world that shows you how unique does not mean ugly.
It spreads love and joy in a time when the world needs it. I could watch this film a million times. Hugh Jackman was amazing and Zac Efron's return to his musical roots is epic, but the real star was the beautiful and talented Zendaya.
She steals the show anytime she appears on screen.
