Review of The Greatest Showman (2017) by Loretta M — 24 Feb 2018
Yes, perhaps the movie does gloss over the intricacies of PT Barnum's life. Some might even say it whitewashes his life. I still enjoyed what I found to be a feel-good story about overlooking what people say you can't do - and making great things happen. It's about standing up to adversity and naysayers and doing what you think is the right thing.
The music was great, the dancing was superb (it was great to see Hugh Jackman in this kind of a role), and I left the theater with a smile on my face. This is what matters.
