Oh I enjoyed this film ever so much from the beautiful cinematography to the power filling soundtrack that pumps you up and makes you want to sing and shout right along with them. The story though ''basic and predictable'' as my friend Rae says, is still enjoyable.

Not every song is amazing but many still leave you trying to remember lyrics and humming tunes. I have always wanted to join the circus and do acrobatics and clown school, and this only fills me with more determination.

It does instill the magic and the passion of having your own dreams and being who you are and want to be, no matter how others slap you down. I absolutely love Phineas and Charity's marriage. The character of Charity is an inspirationally good wife.

Loving and supporting her husband wanting him and their family happy and together, not worried about money or situation. Taking risks and chasing dreams despite potential failure. Knowing him well enough to believe him when he said the newspaper's printing of the kiss with Jenny wasn't anything.

Jenny was a classy woman save for that petty move to kiss Barnum and end the tour short knowing it would ruin him, only because he decided to go home when he realized her interest. I love the idea that the backdrops were oil paintings and do hope that they will tour the country in art galleries as the screen must hardly give them justice.

Possible themes could be the achieving underdog, unequal minorities, along with others. Loved many scene transitions and the colors and costumes were great! It saddens me to see this movie bring about the story of Barnum and Bailey just as much as it excites me.

Because just like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid with western lifestyles and the movie genre, this is another token that this legend that is a staple of childhoods and happy innocence, is dead or dying.

The magic may live on forever but more so in memory and inspiration to similar entertainment arts.
