I'm a huge advocate for movie musicals, but was pretty disappointed with this one. The pop songs are catchy, but not anywhere near the level of broadway. The "hero" P.T. Barnum was actually a horrible person in real life.
Jenny Lind, the Swedish Nightingale and operatic soprano, is sung by a pop star alto. The CG was distracting and there were a lot of missed opportunities here. Do yourself a favor and rent a Circe du Soleil DVD instead.
