Review of The Greatest Showman (2017) by Darkbloodshed13 — 02 Jan 2018
When I first heard that Fox was making a movie on P.T. Barnum I was excited, but then when I heard it was going to be a musical staring Hugh Jackman and Zac Efron I groaned a little. Lucky the movie pulled a win in the end.
The characters where well written and the songs were amazing. If I had pick a favorite one it would be The Other Side. Jackman portrayed Barnum fantastically. However there are some problems I have with the movie.
Like how it an over romanticized version of Barnum's live. Also they don't give the movie much time to breath in between musical numbers and some do just feel like music videos slammed into the movie.
Yet you can still enjoy them. In conclusion if you like the circus and musicals than you'll like this film, if not then sadly this film is not for you.
