Review of The Greatest Showman (2017) by Soteria P — 06 Aug 2018
The Greatest Showman is legitimately storytelling at it's finest, plus the music makes it even more overwhelming. If someone said a couple years ago that Hugh Jackman was going to be in a musical I wouldn't have believed you, but after seeing this movies he truly doe have a fabulous voice.
The performances are good, the story is good and the music is good, and who can resist Zac Efron's wonderful voice. Are really don;t understand why the critics are so down on this movies, it's entertaining from start to finish.
It has been a long time since a musical had catchy songs and made me smile, and The Greatest Showman certainly achieved all of the above, with wonderful scene, magical dance routines and a competent Directer (Michael Gracey) who clearly knew what he was doing.
