I'm going to admit it: I really love this film. If I had a nickel for every PG movie movie about golf that can make me tear up with happiness even the second time through...I'd have five cents.
Shia LaBeouf really sells this, and as weird as it might sound, there is some truly beautiful cinematography. I thoroughly enjoy the music, too, and even the things that I would normally nitpick about really don't seem like problems, because it is excellent for what it is.
Oh my god, I'm not really giving four stars to a heartwarming sports flick, am I? But oh, I am!
