Review of The Greatest Game Ever Played (2005) by Alysia V — 18 Jan 2009

You don't necessarily have to be a fan of golf to enjoy this movie. It's an inspirational (true) story about fighting for your dream, your passion and not letting anything or anyone get in your way of pursuing that.

However, with my father being in the country club and golf business, I do think it gave me a deeper appreciation for this sort of film. It was well acted and Shia LaBeouf is a great up-and-coming actor.

I also thought the little boy who played his caddy in this film was perfect! I'd like to read the book because I do always enjoy true, inspirational stories of someone fighting for their dream and this movie portrayed that well.
