This is a great kids movie that delivers with lots of adventure and monsters and excitement. It doesn't have a hollywood budget for the effects, but that's ok cos it more than makes up for it with heart (and great designs). It made me feel like I was 5 years old again and watching the Labrynth for the first time. The movie is even better if you watch it with some kids and see how enthralled they get.
Oh also, the climax is incredible, even for a Miike film. You'll know what I mean if you watch it.
