I love these monsters. No movie has done a better job bringing yokai to the big screen. I would rated it higher but Takashi Miike's perviness and the parts of the movie where he indulges in his own fetishes prevents me from doing so.
The kid was a little annoying too. But there was so much that was wonderful like Kawataro and the bean washer. Oh well.
