Fantasy without any attempt at historical authenticity. Plot is weak. Action sequences are all this movie has to offer, but they are weak. Beast with 8 arrows in it keeps attacking, but matt Damon shoots one more arrow into it and thats the magic one! This happens quite a few times! You will have many "why didn't they just use/ do/ open that in the first place" moments.
..story doesn't hold together. Shallow acting...almost feel Damon's cringe factor at his corny attempted humour lines! In fact this movie is so cringe...but it looks beautiful. Not sure who this movie is targeted at.
..can't imagine anyone enjoying it! It was an arduous watch.
