Review of The Great Raid (2005) by Terror A — 29 Sep 2007
This is a very underwhelming WWII drama that has a great story but unfortunately it never really develops it, instead it becomes a dull and by-the-numbers war film. The acting from the cast was okay but they don't much to do with their characters (Joseph Fiennes however gives the film's best performance) and the direction was a little lifeless.
Luckily it does have its moments and it does pick up in the last half. It could have a great but just a very forgettable one.
