This movie has the realism of a Disney theme park. It was a joke how the big "plan" to free the prisoners was scribbled out on dirt in two minutes. Not to mention the ridiculousness of a tall, caucasian woman roaming the streets of Japanese-occupied Manila.
The evil Japanese commander getting his comeuppance was as predictable as the sun rising in the east.
