Honestly, this isn't the best adaptation of the novel, it tries too hard to compete with Fitzgerald. Beautifully shot, but the acting... well judging by the pacing, it seems the actors, including Mia Farrow weren't directed very well.
Though a decent adaptation, there have been other adaptations of this novel done better than this. worth checking out, but for fans of the book don't get your hopes up.
