Review of The Great Gatsby (1974) by Amanda S — 18 Aug 2013
Dry and quite long. I actually tuned out of the last ten minutes or so after the climax of the film because it was so unnecessary. Hated Tom Buchanan's character, but not for the reasons you're supposed to in the novel.
He was just boring. Scenery and costumes were lovely and Robert Redford does alright, but all things considered, I'll stick with the book!
