Review of The Great Escape (1963) by Jared H — 26 Nov 2009
A pretty in-depth, but still entertaining action pic about the escape of the best of the best allied prisoners at escaping. It got really exciting at the end. Between this one and Stalag 17 though, I'm gonna go with Stalag.
I think it was through and through, a more intense pic, and relied more on the plot and characters rather than the glamorous action scenes. But both are very much worth your time, and rightfully regarded as classics.
