Review of The Great Escape (1963) by Stephen H — 20 Mar 2010
This is a great film, building upon the humanism of "Grand Illusion" and scope of "Bridge on the River Kwai", to become an entertaining mesh of drama, suspense, and action. McQueen defines cool. Garner and the rest do well too.
