Review of The Great Dictator (1940) by Melodie B — 23 May 2009
Chaplin's political views are so blatant that I don't know how he got away with it.
There are so many iconic scenes in this film. One that really stuck with me is where the Hitler character joyously bounces the Earth balloon with his feet and hands, showing his plans to have complete power over the world.
