Review of The Great Dictator (1940) by Jordan F — 24 Oct 2012
It's dynamic, poignant and timeless. While the humour may come off as dated in areas, and for the subject matter, its indeed light. The charm and humour still shine through, and more importantly, so does the moral and political point that Chaplin pushes throughout.
And it is as stunningly important as it would surely have been in it's day.
