I just didn't find the characters believable enough. I didn't believe he was mentally unstable enough to do such a horrible act.
Too many holes in the film.
-How did he sneak him into the country.
-How did they get around with no job/money.
-When did the kids get taken back.
-The kid's accent changing so fast.
The shots are pretty good, but the pacing has some issues and the main thing is the characters growth could have been done better.
