Review of The Great Dictator (1940) by Marianne B — 13 Jun 2011
Though it has its dull moments, Charlie Chaplin amuses in a satirical way. He does speak in this one, though he is yet again best when pantominical. The movie ends with a prophetic speach, from historical perspective making it the best end the movie could have.
