The Great Debaters is sadly not as popular a biopic as it should be but with Denzel Washington at the director's chair and with Washington being among one of the talented cast members, young and old assembled onscreen as well as a great script including some outstanding speeches from the Wiley College debate team, the film delivers an important message making this a biographical drama that ought to appeal to all races, not just black people.
