Review of The Great Buck Howard (2008) by Matt B — 17 Mar 2009
Nothing too special. A sentimental and corny, yet enjoyable movie. John Malkovich devilishly steals every scene he is in. His incredible performance is worth seeing the movie alone. Even though it takes place in modern times, "Buck Howard" has a nostalgic feel thanks to Playtone producer Tom Hanks.
Both the movie and Mr. Malkovich's character are like a C grade, forgettable entertainer on a cruise line that makes you laugh for no legit reason.
