Review of The Great Buck Howard (2008) by Harish B — 30 Apr 2009
This was a VERY well made movie. Although you never truly get to know Buck Howard, it's how the movie was meant to be. You were supposed to see the man through Troy's eyes, and Troy never really got to know him, either.
Buck Howard is a man of many mysteries, and it's probably better that it's kept that way. That way, he represents more than just a man, and moves on to show that the impossible just might be possible.
John Malkovich is great as usual, although he just might be at the top of his game here.
