I almost gave up after the first 40mins thinking this was way too arty and high brow for me but I was hooked by a review that said, "A dazzling, dizzying, mesmerising and hypnotic cinematic tour-de-force that has drawn comparisons with Italian greats such as La Dolce Vita and La Notte.
A triumphant return to form for world-renowned visionary director Paulo Sorrentino". The following 40mins hooked me in and then when I finally 'got it', I thoroughly enjoyed the remaining hour!! Phew!
