The Grapes of Wrath is undoubtedly one of the finest films in history. Any accolade this film recieves is well deserved, whether it's any award nominations and wins and it's status as an American classic.

Through this film, we get to take a frightening look at America through the eyes of a naive Oklahoman family. Our heart breaks when these characters go through hard times, and our spirits soar whenever something good happens to them. All of the actors are absolutely amazing in this film. John Ford also did a fantastic job as the director.

This movie does the impossible and shows us some of the darkest moments in American history, while at the same time offering the hope of freedom that America offers. We the audience get absolutely captivated by this film, and I was completely drawn in to the film and didn't withdraw until the film was over.

Like any story that has realism to offer, this movie really doesn't have an ending. It just simply ends. The family has a lot more hardships that are ahead of them, but Ma's speech at the end sums up the spirit of the movie so well that it left me absolutely breathless, and it ended on the perfect note.

I searched hard and low for a flaw to this movie, and there was absolutley none that I could find. This a beauitful American cinematic masterpiece that gets you emotionally involved with the characters and offers realism unlike any I've ever seen in a film since To Kill a Mockingbird.
