Review of The Grapes of Wrath (1940) by Aditya M — 20 Sep 2013
One of the greatest american wonders in history of film. It isn't rough as in the John Steinbeck's masterpiece because it has the scent of John Ford. It is so beautifully and imaginative told and made.
You can feel the suffering of Jane Darwell when she is leaving her home and the reality of Fonda's performance. It has a wonderful cinematography, a groundbreaking narrative structure and breathtaking performances.
When you see this film you feel part of the story that is told.
