Review of The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014) by Aaron A — 15 Feb 2015
This a quirky adventure about M Gustave and his lobby boy turned personal assistant Zero. One of the things that struck me most about this film was the amount of big actors in it! I can't remember the last time I saw such a strong cast list.
The settings for this film are both elaborate and well done. Ralph Fiennes is on top form and the delivery of M Gustave's quick, dry but often charming wit is second to none. Although I did enjoy the film it didn't quite do enough to get 5 stars.
If you fancy something a bit different and off the usual beat and track this is for you.
