It's either a generation gap or this really is a bad movie... There is no true development. As my friend likes to say "you just got to believe these things just happen." Everyone is dysfunctional but are somehow connected.
Plus, they really gloss over the main character's initial problem. This movie really has nothing really going for it aside from some creative camera angles and that's about it...
