Review of The Graduate (1967) by Bonnie S — 14 Dec 2010
Loved it, can't believe I'd never seen it before. Dustin Hoffman is so brilliant. He plays this awkward, lost young man so perfectly. The scene where he explains to his parents that he's going to go marry Elaine, but she doesn't know about it and she doesn't even really like him is priceless.
I was kind of disappointed that they only managed to fit 5 or 6 Simon and Garfunkel songs in, but just repeated them a lot. They really couldn't find any different ones?
