Review of The Graduate (1967) by Andres B — 16 Apr 2011
A coming of age film that truly feels like a movie from the sixties. From its direction, shot selection, and music, the movie makes the audience feel what the characters are feeling as oppose to us watching them feel. Dustin Hoffman is great as Ben, but Anne Bancroft is memorable as Mrs. Robinson. No wonder Ben couldn't resist. One word: "Plastics.".
Grade: A-.
