Review of The Graduate (1967) by Felicity L — 20 Aug 2012
I saw this film because it's one of those films you're supposed to see. I have to say, I didn't find it particularly funny, or well acted, or well written. Some of the cinematography was quite interesting and creative, but overall I don't think it aged well.
Perhaps some part of it resonated with the social situation in the 60s and the film, in context, would've made better sense. Overall, I think you can miss this film without much loss - even as a cultural reference point.
Sad but true!
