Review of The Graduate (1967) by Antonio L — 28 Dec 2012
A perfect and poignant picture of the generation gap in the 60's, with the surreptitiously burnt-out parents and the lost, rebellious youths who don't know what to do with their potential. Ross and Hoffman are delightfully naive as Elaine and Benjamin and Anne Bancroft portrays the troubled Mrs.
Robinson phenomenally. The Graduate comes complete with beautiful French New Wave cinematography and wonderful music from Simon and Garfunkel.
