Review of The Goonies (1985) by Candice N — 20 Sep 2012
Litterally the very first "real" movie I saw in my life, with "real" actors (I mean by that not animation). I probably watched this movie like a zillion times, I still have this ritual of watching it once a year (and I'm 26 now). You can easily imlagine that I know every single lines and other details by heart. It's also one of the few movies I watched dubbed in French (my original language) because I've always watched it that way since my early years and I can't bear the original version.
I'm not sure I can give a fair review on this movie anyway, it is my all time favorite and always will be: a group of incredible, funny, smart and bold kids looking for a pirate treasure underground in Oregon (XD!) meeting the worst bad guys and their mother (XD! bis) on the way (and Cindy Lauper singing in the middle), what else would you ask for?
