An iconic film of my childhood. It epitomizes what you as a child would gladly do to get out of a boring time in the house. Goonies never say die, and the Truffle Shuffle are just a few heartfelt words that still follow me around in daily life some 29 years later.
My son is now 10 and hopefully has been sucked into the Goonie-ness that pervades this flick. A must for the 80s Nostalgic. It has the girl, the comedy, the kids, the spookieness, the baddies and one of them is still fanciable and makes you drool, a group of heros all so lovable they could be any one of us in everyday life, and a happy ending, and pizza and gemstones and a pirate ship.
What more do you need!!!!!!
