OK, but certainly not the classic it is made out to be. Drifts a lot, and the plot isn't always very coherent. Desperately in need of editing, clocking in at nearly three hours.
Clint Eastwood does his usual cool, silent routine, and does it well. Supporting cast are pretty poor though - fairly hammy performances all round.
