Review of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) by Bryon J — 27 Jun 2012
Sergio Leone created a masterpiece that far outstripped the bounds of the traditional western. By using the same actors in different roles from the previous two entries in the trilogy even going so far as to give them different names Leone fashions a metaphysical statement on violence the myth of the old west and america itself.
This is one of my favorite westerns of all time and one of my overall favorite overall films as well.
