There aren't many movies in the entire history of cinema that have soundtracks that make a movie, but this is one. I would have to say along side the soundtracks from movies like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Superman, The Godfather this one from The Good The Bad and The Ugly rank right there with them.

However, this movie is much more then just background music. I simply love how much is told with pictures and expression in the actors face and not with dialogue. Why this might be a downfall with some, it's a hit with me.

The final 25 minutes are as good as any in film to me. The music, the shots around the graves, the looks on these guys faces are priceless. It's not the greatest dub job in the world, which is why this doesn't get a higher ranking, as the sync between lips moving and the actual words isn't great.

What's great about this movie is that each character has some serious ups and downs and looks down and out, yet the three guys who all team up in some fashion or another at one point, all have one showdown at the end.

I bet the west was somewhat like that, every man for himself.
