Review of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966) by Alonso A — 30 Jan 2013
There are some movies that trascend their time and their historic context and become timeless classics. The third and final part of the Dollar Trilogy may be the most remembered of all, giving a whole new perspective to the term spaghetti western.
Starting with the compelling and amazing story to the beautiful landscapes, from Morricone's epic and haunting score to the memorable performances of Eastwood and Van Cleef, but most of all the visionary directing of Sergio Leone.
All of these things make The Good,The Bad and The Ugly one of the best pieces of western cinema and Leone immortal.
